The MMU will enable the center to expand its reach into the community and provide a flexible service delivery model that will help to meet the needs of a diverse population, addressing the lack of transportation in the region, which often presents as a barrier to care. The MMU is an important community asset that will also help to address social disparities and inequities often found among vulnerable and underserved populations. Its mission is to bring access and valuable healthcare services where the people of the communities we serve live and work. CHWC serves in a culturally sensitive and compassionate manner, with special emphasis on reaching the underserved. |
