Elizabeth Caruthers, RDN, CDCES
Elizabeth Caruthers is a Registered Dietitian, board-certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and Coordinator for the Nutrition and Diabetes Programs at Community Health and Wellness. She received her BS in Nutrition from the University of Maryland in 1995. Elizabeth’s background includes acute care, private practice, and community health. She works with both children and adults and loves helping her clients experience a better quality of life by making healthy changes step by step. Elizabeth has been a student of meditation for over 15 years and has found mindfulness to be the most valuable tool in her work and life.
Cristin Davis, RN
Cristin Davis is a Registered Nurse who holds an ADCES Level 1 Certificate as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and is a member of the Community Health and Wellness Diabetes Education Team. Cristin graduated in 2016 from Northwestern Connecticut Community College with her Associates degree in Nursing. Prior to that she had 13 years of experience as an LPN. Her professional background includes acute and long-term care, hospice care and infectious disease care. Cristin enjoys taking care of and educating patients with diabetes. She brings her own personal experiences, as she has been living with Type 1 diabetes now for over 30 years.
Amy Mayerjak, RN
Amy Mayerjak is a Registered Nurse who holds an ADCES Level 1 Certificate as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and is a member of the Community Health and Wellness Diabetes Education Team. Amy graduated from Ona Wilcox in 1995. She brings prior experience in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and spinal cord rehabilitation.
Amy spends most of her free time with her 3 dogs enjoying the outdoors. She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them live well with diabetes.
