Dr. Rocco Russo, M.D., Medical Director
Dr. Russo received his postgraduate training in the Family Medicine from the Family Medicine Residency Program at the Santa Monica Hospital and Medical Center, Santa Monica, CA. Since then he has worked in private practice and most recently with a Federally Qualified Health Center in New York State. From 2008 – 2011, he was an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine; instructing medical students in primary care and Family Medicine. He is still passionate about the practice and science of medicine, enjoys meeting new people, is endlessly entertained by his yellow Labrador retriever. He is looking forward to learning and experiencing the community here in Torrington and the northwest hills. |
Dr. Christina Lee, M.D.
Winsted Dr. Christina Lee studied medicine at University College Dublin in Ireland, and recently finished her family medicine residency training in New Jersey. Board certified in Family Medicine, she’s interested in preventative medicine and women’s health while providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys hiking and exploring nature with her husband, traveling, and cooking. |
Darcey Cusano, APRN
Darcey is an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She earned her BSN and MSN from Walden University and is currently enrolled in Boston’s UMASS post-master’s Family Nurse Practitioner certificate program. Darcey has over 10 years of emergency nursing experience. She has worked as an APRN in long-term care, orthopedics, the emergency department and most recently as an inpatient Hospitalist. Born and raised in Connecticut, Darcey came to CHWC because she is looking to make of a difference in our community, more than she could while working in a hospital setting. In addition to joining our team of primary care providers, she is looking forward to being involved with CHWC’s Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program. |
Joann M. Orsatti, NP-C
Joann was on CHWC’s first medical team when it opened in 2008, and stayed with the practice until 2014. She received her Adult Nurse Practitioner M.S.N. from Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT, in 2001, her Baccalaureate Nursing degree from Central Connecticut State University in 1997, and her Associates Degree in nursing from Mattatuck Community College, Waterbury, CT, in 1980. Committed to caring for the underserved and uninsured population of young adult, adult, and geriatric patients in NW Connecticut, she is happy to be back at CHWC. |
Nancy Christiano, NP-C
Nancy Christiano NP-C is a graduate of the Master of Science in Nursing program at the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford, CT and is a Family Nurse Practitioner board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Baccalaureate Nursing degree from Anna Maria College, and her Associates Degree in nursing from Naugatuck Valley Community College. Her interests include the promotion of health across the lifespan through prevention, chronic disease management, women’s wellness, and pediatrics, as well as the health and well-being of the immigrant population. Nancy is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. |
Donna Urbinati, APRN
One of CHWC’s School-Based Healthcare Providers, Donna is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and is certified by the American Academy of Nurses Credentialing Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Syracuse University and her Master of Science/Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree from Duke University. Donna has extensive pediatric experience working in pediatric primary/urgent care offices, and authored a publication entitled “The Evolution of the School Nurse Practitioner: Past, Present, and Future” in the Journal of School Nursing. In addition, she has worked with the Bureau of Indian affairs and done graduate work in Jérémie, Haiti. Her interests outside of her career are cross country skiing, watching college basketball. and animal rescue. |
Tiffany Cesca, MSN, NP-C
Winsted Tiffany is a graduate of the University of Saint Joseph, where she obtained both her MSN and BSN degrees. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Tiffany practiced for several years as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department. She is interested in treating underserved patients across the lifespan, with a focus on preventative care, and chronic disease management. When Tiffany is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and 4 dogs. She is eager to work within the community and offer comprehensive care for all. |
