As a way to better serve the needs of our patients, we offer nutrition services, chiropractic care, podiatry, and diabetes care. Patients who currently use primary care services may be eligible to access specialty care services. Ask your provider if you are eligible for these services. 

How to find Services

If you are not currently a patient with Community Health & Wellness but would like to access the Specialty Care Services, please call 860-489-0931 to speak with a Patient Access Representative today to become a primary care patient. Once you are a primary care patient, your provider will work with you to determine which specialty care services would be most beneficial for you.  

Nutrition Services

Chiropractic Care
Community Health & Wellness offers nutrition counseling services with a registered dietitian-nutritionist.  Our nutritionist will individualize a plan just for you, so that the time and resources you have available for eating better will bring the greatest results.
Chiropractic Care is designed to treat your musculoskeletal system by helping to restore normal joint motion, muscle function and nerve activity. Physical exams diagnose your pain generator and use safe, effective, individualized treatment to help your body heal.

Diabetes

HIV Treatment
The Community Health & Wellness Diabetes Education program is committed to the prevention and management of diabetes through individualized, patient-centered services that build self-management skills. 
Knowing your HIV status is one of the easiest and most important steps you can take in order to treat and prevent transmission of HIV.  The CHWC team can assist with testing and treatment of HIV and other infectious diseases.

Pharmacy

Located in the Torrington lobby, Genoa Pharmacy provides on-site pharmacy services for our patients and the community. The Pharmacy also offers delivery and mailing options for the surrounding towns. ​
