Community Health & Wellness’s Winsted Facility Reopens COVID-19 Testing Schedule through October

Torrington, CT—Community Health & Wellness (CHW) announces that its Winsted facility located at 10 Center Street will reopen on Tuesday, October 13th. Hours of operation will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 5 pm. For the time being, the facility will offer medical and behavioral health services by appointment. ​

CHW anticipates adding more days and offering dental services in the near future. “We closed our Winsted office at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in late March to keep our staff and patients safe,” says Joanne Borduas, CEO of CHW. “We are pleased to open up our doors on Center Street once again to serve the Winsted community.”

The Center’s Torrington office offers medical, behavioral health and pharmacy services Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5 pm. It also offers dental, chiropractic, and nutrition services Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am – 5 pm, and podiatry on Thursdays, 8:30 am – 5 pm. Both the Winsted and Torrington offices are accepting new patients and take most insurances, including HUSKY/Medicaid.
