The Community Health & Wellness Center is also funded thru the Ryan White Care Act grant. The Ryan White Care Act funds cities, towns, states, and other public or nonprofit organizations to develop and operate more effective, cost-efficient systems for delivering health care and support services to the medically underserved individuals and families affected by the HIV disease. The Ryan White Care Act established a variety of programs which address the unmet health needs of persons living with HIV disease. These programs are designed to improve the quality of and access to community-based HIV outpatient services. We are funded to provide early intervention and primary care services to Adults living with HIV.
