Dr. Jeffrey S. Ott D.D.S. M.P.H
Dental Director Jeffrey Ott is a General Dentist who graduated from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2009 after completing a BA in International Politics from Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH. Dr. Ott completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Sacred Heart Hospital, in Allentown, PA. Following his residency, he worked for seven years at a robust private practice in Fall River, MA, and then began his transition toward public health. In 2020, Dr. Ott completed his Master of Public Health from George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health in Washington DC and concurrently shifted his dental focus to underserved populations/communities. Dr. Ott worked tirelessly at East Bay Community Action Program for over 5 years, a community health center in Newport, RI, before signing on to become CHWC’s New Dental Director starting in 2024. Along with all of CHWC’s dedicated staff, Dr. Ott will be instilling a new passion for community dentistry that will hopefully reshape the patient experience and have a profound impact on our dental community here at CHWC. “I’m so pleased to be serving at Community Health and Wellness!” he says. |
DR. VICTORIA MASSEY, D.M.D.
Associate Dental Director Victoria Massey, D.M.D. is a practicing General Dentist. Dr. Massey is a product of UConn graduating from the University of Connecticut in the dual degree B.S./D.M.D. Program and the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She completed an AEGD Residency at New York University Langone at Holyoke Community Health Center. Dr. Massey’s passions include: patient advocacy, vulnerable populations, and social determinants of health. She is core dental faculty for UConn Health’s Urban Service Track where she shares those passions with both students and the community. Dr. Massey has served in several positions of leadership and received awards for both teaching and service. |
DR. Joohan Lee, DDS
Dr. Lee received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from New York University College of Dentistry, New York, NY. His areas of expertise include: preventative dentistry; restorative dentistry; pediatric and geriatric dentistry; periodontic procedures; endodontic treatment; oral surgery; cosmetic dentistry; PFM and Zirconia crowns and fixed partial prostheses; and management of medically compromised patients. Dr. Lee focuses on being gentle and making patients feel relaxed. He has a lot of empathy for his patients and treats them as members of his own family. |
Marilyn Bartley, RDH.
Dental Hygienist Marilyn is a native of Jamaica. She graduated with honors from Hostos Community College with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene and from the University of Bridgeport Fones School of Dental Hygiene with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She was awarded the Overall Dental Hygiene Achievement award for her accomplishments in both academic and clinical arenas. In her 32 years of experience, she has practiced in many different areas of dentistry. When she is not working, Marilyn volunteers her time providing free dental services to underserved communities (those with no or little access to dental and medical care) in countries like Mexico, Haiti, Jamaica, and here in CT in local schools, daycare centers, CT MOM (Mission of Mercies), and her church. Marilyn has been married to her high school sweetheart for 38 years. They have two adult children and four grandchildren Abigail, Lydia, Micah, and Judah. She is an active member of her church and loves to run, read, and spend time with her family and friends. “My goal is helping patients to change their lives by transforming their smile,” she says. |
