Community Health and Wellness Center of Greater Torrington celebrates the first year of our Dental Center.

Last winter Community Health & Wellness Center welcomed comprehensive dental care to our family of services, adding a vital resource to the Greater Torrington community. Dental Providers, Dr. John H. Waterman and Dr. Vilma Pelaez Annicelle head a team of dedicated, caring people who strive daily to welcome patients to their new dental home and work with them to build healthy and attractive smiles. As with all Community Health & Wellness Center programs. Our dental department is open to everyone, with our number one goal to find a way to get our patients the treatment they need and deserve.

The center offers many services on site, including digital x-rays, exams, cleanings and deep cleanings, fillings, dentures, crowns, and extractions. We also have relationships with many specialists to refer our patients to for certain procedures such as complex or multiple extractions, and complex root canals. The Health Center now provides Behavioral Health Services for our established medical patients

Community Health & Wellness Center is happy to announce we now provide comprehensive Behavioral Health Services for established adolescent and adult primary care patients of the center. Your mental health is a very important part of your overall wellness and your care provided here at the center. You can now conveniently and anonymously get the Behavioral Health services you may need directly at the center site. Asking for help does not need to be difficult or uncomfortable. We understand that emotional problems can be very challenging and can negatively impact your health and well-being.

Our services begin with a brief, confidential screening. We will then assist you in setting up your initial appointment with a licensed therapist and should medication become necessary a psychiatrist is available for evaluation. Your therapist will work with you to explore your concerns and create a treatment plan tailored to suit your personal needs and goals. Our services include comprehensive individual therapy provided by experienced compassionate behavioral health therapists.
